Cut Copy at Bowery Ballroom
This show was last Wednesday but I can't let it go unmentioned. Cut Copy played Bowery Ballroom along with T + T [Tim Goldsworthy (who helped produce the record) + Tim Sweeney] DJing beforehand. Shows that require lots of dancing can usually be a little awkward at Bowery but the crowd really got into this one; I was in the back and people were still moving around. Almost every Cut Copy song has a breakdown and they used them to their full advantage to drive people crazy. With this album and on this tour, Cut Copy has arrived in the pantheon of great bands like LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, and !!! that makes dance music come alive at a show.
