Austin's Explosions In The Sky performed at Bowery Ballroom Saturday Night. These instrumental rockers put on the type of show that might be just as enjoyable with your eyes closed. The band rarely opened theirs. Some have called their shows life changing epic journeys through sound and I imagine these are the same people who were shouting "You Rock!" at a crucial quiet moment. Who knows if they were talking about a change for the better or the worse? I can't tell you if my life was changed from that show but at least I've still got my health.
