Beirut and Ted Leo Friday Night
Everybody knows Beirut. They finally headlined the Mercury Lounge. It was short but sweet. This was the place to get your horns and uke' fix. They have merch now.
I was really tired after Ted Leo and The Pharmacists played the longest Seaport Show I have ever seen. He played a ton of new material, some of it political. One of the new songs was about the CIA with "Only you know what you've done" somewhere in the chorus. The band also played "Suspect Device" by the Stiff Little Fingers in the encore.
